When everyone was investing in real estate and the market seemed like it could only increase, I jumped into the house flipping game. I bought my first place at 24 years old and spent the summer remodeling it with my father. The market crashed shortly after and I decided to enroll in design school at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM).

The plan was to have my own design business, then randomly I got cast to star in a design show - "Design School" on HGTV. After the series was over I assisted a friend/designer on "Celebrity Holiday Homes" on HGTV. Shortly after, I got an e-mail to produce the stage for one of the largest design events on the West Coast - Dwell on Design. I couldn't pass it up! I was the stage producer for Dwell on Design two years in a row.

About the same time, I started blogging for one of the top design sites, Apartment Therapy. I would write about everything from before/after projects, product roundups, and house tours. I started off working with a few photographers, then went out on my own taking my own pictures. I now photograph 4-6 homes a month to feature as full home tours on Apartment Therapy. To date, I have photographed over 75 homes of creatives. Currently, I am contributing to California Home+Design and Apartment Therapy. The most recent news is I worked with Berlin based interview site, Freunde von Freunden, for one of their portrait interviews based in San Francisco. I am currently traveling through Europe for 3 months photographing homes of emerging designers and artists in 22 different cities.

I am just taking everything a day at a time and seeing where this journey leads me...
